Wat Tham Seua

The Tiger Cave Temple is notable not just for the brilliant golden Guan Im statue looking peacefully out over the surrounding jungle, but also the 1,260 stairs you have to climb to reach it. The trek is no joke, and dangerously steep at times, but the views from the top are simply breathtaking. Watch out for the family of monkeys on the way up; they love to hop down and steal your food if you let them.
