Wat Phu Khao Thong

Nestled upon the ruins of the Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of Siam, rests Wat Phu Khao Thong. This restored masterpiece of Burmese architecture withered away over the years, but a massive restructuring took place that saw a new chedi formed in the Thai style. It stands proudly among the acres of ruins and gives a wonderful insight into the areas past.
