Before you start wrapping gifts, here are some important items that will make this easier for you.

• Gift wrapping paper, it can be in any design you want!
• A pair of scissors
• Scotch tape
• A box to put your gift in

Step 1: The Setup
Before you begin wrapping gifts, you will need to set up a few things. The easiest way to wrap them is to put it in a suitable box. Once you have done that, it’s time to open up your gift wrapping paper. Lay it on a flat surface with the design or pattern on the bottom and place your box on top of the paper.

Step 2: Top Measure
Measure your gift wrapping paper based on the dimensions of your box. First, make sure that the longer ends of the gift wrapping paper is long enough to wrap around your box, with an additional leftover of 2 to 3 inches. Let’s name each end ‘A’ and ‘B’ respectively for now.
Step 3: Side Measure
Next, measure the sides of the gift wrapping paper based on your box. It must be at least three quarters the length of the sides of your box. Once you have measured out the dimensions of the gift wrapping paper, it’s time to start wrapping!


Step 4: Top Wrap
Place your box upside down in the center of the wrapping paper. Take point ‘A’ and wrap it around towards the top. Be sure to wrap and fold the corners tightly to make it crisp and clean. Use scotch tape to tape it down to the box. Proceed to do the same with point B. With that, you are done folding the top and bottom!

Step 5: Side Wrap
Now that you have wrapped the top and bottom, it’s time to finish off by wrapping the sides! If you look at the sides, there is still excess paper that needs to cover up your box. To do this pick a side and fold the excess paper on the top inwards. Be sure to make the folds and creases sharp. Tape it down to the box.

Step 6: Side Folds
After that, fold the excess paper on the left and right inwards. Tape it down to the top fold you made in step 4.

Step 7: Final Fold
Finally, you should be left with a triangular-looking shape at the bottom. All you have to do is fold it up and tape it down. Repeat steps 5 to 7 on the other side, and you will have a perfectly wrapped gift!
