Trim CastleA lot of magic happened in Trim Castle, and by that we mean movie magic. The castle served as one of the settings of the epic Mel Gibson film Braveheart. It sits on the south bank of the River Boyne and is the largest Anglo-Norman castle in all of Ireland. It also took over 30 years to build.
