El Capitan, Yosemite
El Capitan is home to the longest free fall rappelling in the U.S. at approximately 3,000 feet. Don’t let the recent debacle deter you; the giant rock face isn’t falling apart—completely. Of course, if you’re going to fall down it you’ll have to climb your way up first. If you don’t have the body or skill for it, no worries, you can some assistance that’ll make it easy.
